CRUISE TO KARTCHNER CAVERNS STATE PARK

This tour is a half of a mile in length and takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete, 50 minutes of which is underground. Discover the role that water plays in creating the caverns. You will see the discoverers' original trail, 45,000-year-old bat guano, delicate formations, and “Kubla Khan."

About the Event

Ø RAIN OR SHINE, MEET AT HOBBY LOBBY AT 9:15 a.m. – DEPART AT 9:30 a.m.

Ø Must arrive 30 minutes prior to tour (9:50 a.m.)

Ø Must pre-pay, with credit card. Call 520-586-4105 ask for Rachel Powell. Cost is $23.00 per person.

Ø TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED NOT LATER THAN AUGUST 11TH.

Ø Free parking for TVS Tour Group

Ø Average temperature is 70 degrees inside cavern.

Ø Half mile tour lasts 90 minutes (50 minutes underground).

Ø Discovery Center has a Gift Shop, restrooms, and Bat Cave Café’.

Ø About 19 miles north of Fort Huachuca’s Van Deman Gate on Hwy 90 towards I-10.

Ø Masks or a face covering that covers both the mouth and nose will be required to enter the cave.

Ø Photography, video cameras, cell phones, food, drink are not allowed inside the cave. All purses, fanny packs, backpacks, or any other bag/item is not allowed on the cave tour. Lockers are available requiring four (4) quarters.

Ø Leave as many of your person belongings in your locked car.

Ø After the tour, we will cruise to Benson for Lunch at Wild Dogs.

Ø For members not wanting to cruise from Hobby Lobby, be at the Caverns at 9:50 a.m.
